Cherie Zajdzinski-Shirey currently works at the Anchorage Police Department as a Community Relations Specialist. Cherie was born and raised in Chicago and transplanted to Anchorage in 2002. Cherie’s mission as a board member is to strengthen the bond between the citizens of our great community and the Anchorage Police Department.

Retired Colonel Bob Doehl is a founding member of Anchorage Cops for Community. He has served as the Commissioner for the State of Alaska Military and Veterans Affairs. Bob has had a long and decorated military career and is an avid volunteer. Bob currently works at the Municipality of Anchorage.

Officer Angie Fraize currently works at the Anchorage Police Department and has been in law enforcement since 2001. Angie was born and raised in Alaska and is raising children own in Anchorage. Angie hopes to bring a passion for volunteerism and service to the broad spectrum of residents in Anchorage.

Danielle is an Associate Broker with Core Real Estate Group with a passion for Public Safety. She is a lifelong Alaskan, graduating from Chugiak High School and UAA with her Bachelors in Accounting. As a member of the Advisory Council, she hopes to inspire others to build a safer community for all of us to work and live.

Sgt. Gerard Asselin has worked at the Anchorage Police Department for more than 19 years and worked to help create and establish Anchorage Cops for Community. Gerard is the former President of the APDEA and currently works as a Patrol Supervisor. He and his family routinely engage in community outreach and volunteer activities.
